Tour Inka Uyo, Aramu muro – Molloco – Waru Warus
The Aymara Ruta Full day tour begins with pickup directly from your hotel. Our first destination is Inka Uyo, also known as the Temple of Fertility, named for the distinctive phallic sculptures found within the site. Two prominent sculptures stand at the entrance, while approximately eighty more are distributed throughout the interior of the palace.
Next, we visit the Molloqo Archaeological Complex, a pre-Inca settlement of the Lupaca culture, showcasing the fascinating fusion of Inca and Lupaca traditions. Here, you’ll find ten pre-Hispanic chullpas (stone burial towers) and twenty underground cist tombs, all nestled into the rocky terrain of this historic site.
Guided by expert professionals, we continue to explore the Waru Warus, an ancient agricultural technique developed by pre-Inca cultures in the Lake Titicaca region. These raised earth platforms, surrounded by water channels, were ingeniously designed to protect crops from both frost and flooding, demonstrating remarkable innovation in sustainable farming.
Our journey culminates at the Interdimensional Gate of Aramu Muro, also known as Hayu Marka, a mystical and energetic site. This incredible altar, carved from a single rock over seven meters tall, is surrounded by a unique landscape and has become a focal point for spiritual seekers from around the world.
