Sun island Copacabana Tour from Puno Full Day:
Sun island tour from Puno Full Day, We will pick you up at 06:30 am. We leave the city of Puno by tourist bus that will lead us to Copacabana. The trip takes 3 hours. Upon arrival we will have free time for lunch and at 12:30 p.m. Bolivian time we head to the harbor to take our boat that will take us to the southern part of the island of the Sun for 1 hour and 30 min. On the way we can enjoy the world’s highest navigable lake. Until reaching the island of the Sun.
Place where we will visit the archaeological center of Pilkokayna built of small stones similar to the stone walls of the Incas, another rest to visit is the Temple of the Sun, the Chincana or the hidden Palace here the Incas performed ceremonies of worship to the God Inti (Sun).
From there we will take the steps of Yumani; Inca road that leads us to the fountain of youth, there you will be able to become purified taking some sacred water as it is said to be a source of eternal youth, pre-Columbian terraces and the ecological gardens. At 20:40hs you will arrive to Puno or La Paz.

- Andean Migration Card (TAM): This document is issued upon entry to Peru and is required for exiting the country and entering Bolivia. It is essential to keep it in good condition. If lost, a duplicate must be obtained.

- Verify whether you need a VISA or PASSPORT for entry.

Tuvimos una buena introducción a la historia de las islas y a la vida allí hoy en día. El guía era perfectamente bilingüe.
Una experiencia inolvidable
Tuvimos la suerte de tener a Max como guía, una persona maravillosa y un guía apasionado y conocedor. Además de presentarnos los lugares que visitamos, nos contó mucho sobre la cultura y tradiciones de las distintas civilizaciones peruanas. Además, cuando tuvimos algún contratiempo, él estuvo inmediatamente disponible para ayudarnos y brindarnos asistencia. El transporte en autobús fue excelente y súper cómodo; Conducía Valentín, un excelente conductor y muy cuidadoso en la carretera.

We did a private tour with Richard as our guide and it was a wonderful experience. Having one on one time with him and a beautiful young family gave us an opportunity to ask questions and with his excellent English a better understanding of Peruvian life. A magical time.

Richard was a wonderful guide.
I’ve read complaints about this trip being too many people or crowded etc and we didn’t experience that because we paid a little more ($30 USD) to have an experienced guide shepherd us on a private tour with a private boat. Our experience for 2 people allowed for us to ask Richard questions and decide how long we wanted to stay at any location. This made it a really special tour. The personal guide info is difficult to find when using the app. You have to scroll down once you are on the experience page and there are additional options to customize your experience.

The boat has a top deck that shows the best view. The guide is knowledgeable and speaks English and Spanish. We’ve absolutely loved the tour. Also, we were able to tour at our own pace as we got the private tour.

El barco tiene una cubierta superior que ofrece la mejor vista. El guía es experto y habla inglés y español. Nos encantó el recorrido. Además, pudimos recorrerlo a nuestro propio ritmo, ya que hicimos el recorrido privado.

La comida estuvo genial, es en lo que siempre tengo dudas, porque en estas actividades suelen llevarte a buffet libre que la comida suele ser malísima.

La comunidad de Uros es muy interesante aunque hoy en día ya parece como un teatro para los turistas y te quiere vender cosas industriales super caro. La caminata por la isla de Taquile es muy bonita con unas vistas preciosas. El almuerzo en el restaurante local fue fenomenal (sopa de verduras, trucha a la plancha o la omelete para los vegetarianos) – acompañado por una presentación de ropa y costumbres locales.

Muy bonito compartir con personas que viven felices, disfrutan y permiten que conozcamos su diario vivir. Aparte de la belleza y majestuosidad de paisajes . Fue algo realmente reconfortante. hermoso paseo.
El viaje y la experiencia muy bonita.
Solo no me gusto que en el viaje iban bebés muy chiquitos. Por una parte me parece peligroso y irresponsable por parte de los padres llevar bebés a un viaje así y por otro la agencia esta asumiendo un gran riesgo si pasa algo. Pero lo que me molesto en si es que los niños no disfrutan un tour así y tampoco dejan disfrutar a los demás viajeros. Muchas veces los padres no los saben controlar y nadie se atreve a decir nada. En este caso un niño estuvo majadero durante el viaje a los Uros y durante el almuerzo. La verdad uno trabaja mucho durante el año para coger vacaciones y no me parece justo tener que aguantar este tipo de situación.
