Sacred valley Cusco – VIP

Start: 06:30 / 07:00 AM Pick up from the hotel located in the center of the city.

We will pick you up from your hotel between 6:30/07:00 am. to begin the unforgettable adventure to the Sacred Valley of the Incas.

Our first stop will be Chinchero; a picturesque village where we will immerse ourselves in the rich textile heritage in the interpretation center, we will be shown their typical dress, traditional music as well as agrotourism and identification of agricultural instruments.

Then we head to the impressive archaeological center of Moray, known as the innovative agricultural laboratory of the Incas in its different stages, pre-Inca, Inca, colonial and republican.

We continue with the tour to the Salineras de Maras, formed by a set of 3000 wells that are dug into the steep slope of a ravine since Inca times, Colonial and currently continue to be exploited by the population with the same ancestral methods, it stores and crystallizes the salt water emanating from the mountain spring Qaqawiñay.We go to Urubamba where you will enjoy a buffet lunch prepared with local products.

Then we head to Ollantaytambo place that was an important Inca construction during its heyday attributed to the Inca Pachacuteq. We will climb the terraces to visit the ruins of the temple of the sun and learn a little more about the construction methods used by the Quechuas.

Enjoy an exclusive view with unique details and perspectives. Our last visit is the archaeological center of Pisaq, here you will be able to observe the Inca terraces and temples.

Finally return to Cusco arriving at 19:00hrs, the transportation will leave you near the main square.

End: 19:00 PM Plateros Street (Downtown Cusco).

Important note. With this tour you have the option to continue the trip to Machupicchu Pueblo from Ollantaytambo.

  • 06.30 / 07.00 hrs: Pick up from your hotel in downtown Cusco.
  • 07:40 hrs: Visit to the Textile Interpretation Center of Chinchero.
  • 09:30 hrs: Visit to the Agricultural Research Center of Moray.
  • 11.00 hrs: Visit to the Salt Mines of the Maras Community.
  • 12.30 hrs: Buffet lunch in the town of Urubamba.
  • 14:00 hrs: Visit to the Archaeological Site of Ollantaytambo.
  • 16.40 hrs: Visit to the archaeological site of Pisaq.
  • 19:00 – 19:30 hrs: Return to Cusco city.

  • Trekking shoes or waterproof boots for comfort. Sturdy sneakers with thick soles are also a good option.
  • Rain gear: A quality raincoat and rain pants (only necessary during the rainy season from January to March).
