Sacred valley and Machupicchu 02 days

Day 1: Cusco – Sacred Valley VIP

The tour begins at 7:30 AM with pick-up from your hotel in Cusco. We will then head to the majestic Sacred Valley of the Incas, where you will have the opportunity to visit charming traditional villages dedicated to craftsmanship, pottery, and agriculture.

Throughout the day, we will explore some of the most iconic destinations in the valley:

  • Chinchero: Visit its traditional market, colonial temple, and archaeological site.
  • Moray: Discover its circular agricultural terraces, which served as an important Inca agricultural experimentation center.
  • Maras Salt Mines: A stunning complex of salt evaporation ponds used since Inca times, where local communities still apply ancestral techniques for salt extraction.

Next, we will head to the town of Urubamba, where you can enjoy a traditional lunch (not included).

Our last visit will be to the imposing Inca fortress and temple of Ollantaytambo, known as the “Living Inca City.” We will climb its terraces to explore the Temple of the Sun, a masterpiece of Inca engineering, and learn about the advanced construction techniques used by the Quechua civilization.

In the afternoon, we will transfer to the Ollantaytambo train station to board the 4:30 PM service bound for Machu Picchu Pueblo (Aguas Calientes). The train ride takes approximately 2 hours. Upon arrival, you will check in at the hotel of your choice (not included).

Day 2: Machu Picchu – Cusco

After breakfast at the hotel, we will take the bus to Machu Picchu, where we will witness the breathtaking sunrise over this sacred site.

Enjoy a 2-hour guided tour, exploring the most iconic sectors of this Wonder of the World, while learning about its history, architecture, and cultural significance.

At the end of the tour, you will have free time to explore Machu Picchu at your own pace.

For those seeking an additional adventure, there is the option to hike Huayna Picchu (optional), a 3-hour round-trip trek without a guide. The entrance fee is $35.00 USD.
