Quechua route Puno full day Tour:

We pick you up from the hotel at 08:00 a.m. Departure to the city called by many “La ciudad rosada de Lampa” or “The city of the 7 wonders”. located 80 km from Puno, there you will discover the beautiful colonial architecture of Peru the Temple Santiago Apostle, inside is the replica canopy of “La Piedad” by Michelangelo Buonarroti and the image of the Virgin of Immaculate made of plaster.

Other attractions to visit are the Catacombs, mansions ornamented in carved ashlar, in a room are exposed the paintings of Victor Humareda Gallegos and finally the hatchery of chinchilicos.

We leave the city for our next stop in Pucara located 61km from Juliaca, we can say that this place is characterized by two types of architectural manifestations: one of monumental characteristics of probable ceremonial function and the other rustic for housing; its main archaeological center is the pyramid of Kalasaya which highlighted in hydraulic and architectural architecture through monoliths, housing, subway constructions and ceremonial centers.

Pucara is famous for its Lithic Museum, inside it expose different cultures one of them is the TORITO DE PUCARA and its representative figure. Then we go to Tinajani Canyon this attraction has an area of 250 hectares approx. and is located at 3,953 meters above sea level.

It is formed by three large gorges of Queñuacuyo, Patabamba and Huhuarachi. You can observe gigantic rocks of different shapes that were obtained over time thanks to natural phenomena. At 19:00 hrs we return to Puno.
